If you have a team of people who work remotely or in different buildings, you will want to start “slacking” right way. Slack has changed how e communicate in business. Slack reduces email clutter, increases engagement, and simplifies project communication. Slack “talks” to many of your other programs so you can keep all your messages in the same place. The paid version starts at $6.67 per person per month.

Best video recorder and screen capture application: Vimeo.

Business Problem solved: Making and storing video screen captures for communication, instructions, and documenting standard operating procedures.

I use Vimeo Basic almost daily to welcome new clients, record some video training, explain an SOP (standard operating procedure), or demonstrate some steps when troubleshooting a computer problem. When you can’t be there a recorded video is the next best thing. I have used the basic plan for more than a year and I have not run into any issues where I need to upgrade. If We used it as a team I would consider upgrading. A pro membership with 3 team members starts at $20 a month. the pro version gives you access to stock photos, videos, and licensed music.
